When did you discover your calling?
Picture it; Milwaukee PrideFest 2012. I gay man was invited to join a group of white faced nuns during PrideFest weekend. After seeing how they interacted with the community and the joy they spread I realized that this is the organization I belong to. Pride Weekend 2012 is when I got my calling to become a Sister Of Perpetual Indulgence.
Why did you join?
To give back to my community. I think there are so many topics that people refuse to touch and as sisters we do just that. Weather it is about safe sex practices, bulling, or certain fetishes you have. We break down the barriers and bring our community together.
Goals and Aspirations:
To bring our WHOLE community together. After all we are all one!
Favorite Quotes:
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, 'Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?' Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.” ― Marianne Williamson,
Rules by which I live:
